Week 8: What’s in my bag?
Well people who are a bit OCD seem to do similar photos. It’s oddly satisfying setting this up. I had to buy a bag of holding to hold that giant laptop. It does indeed hold a lot. I’ve fit my ps3 along with the laptop in this bag. Oh right….photography.
This week’s theme: Polka dots

Week 7: Diptych
A diptych is a photograph that uses two different or identical images side by side to form one single artistic statement.
I went with my two workplaces as my theme this week. In the city, and at home.
Almost two months going with the challenges, have to keep it going.
This week’s theme: What’s in my bag?
A theme pretty open to interpretation.

Week 6: Abstract
I am now seeing that I’m not the only one who went for the method of “a different view on something simple” Although I saw others use a different method.
This weeks theme: Diptych
Just in case:A diptych is a photograph that uses two different or identical images side by side to form one single artistic statement
So it’s actually two photos for this week.

Week 4: The colors of Autumn
I kept telling myself I wouldn’t use leaves, but a mix of feeling uninspired and the leaves practically putting on a show, I sort of just had to. I’m not particularly fond of this theme, but I won’t like every one so, onto the next week.
This week’s theme: Structure

Week 3: Halloween
(Click through for a better view since tumblr is tiny and not as nice)
I’ve been wanting to try this for a while, this seemed like the perfect theme to try it with. Originally it was going to be a white sheet, but I thought a pop of color was needed instead so I changed it to a red sheet. I also discovered a dead body was found not far from where we were that day. So extra creepy.
This week’s theme: Colors of Autumn
This is VERY open to interpretation. It does NOT have to be leaves, it says colors, which can apply to anything. Clothing, architecture, anything you want. I definitely don’t want anyone to think it’s a restrictive theme, although as a warning, upcoming themes are somewhat narrow in thought, and could require some research.

Week 2: Paper
Paper was proving to be difficult, but I stumbled across a bag of 83 paper cranes I made a long time ago. I forget their original purpose, but I made some strings of them.
This week’s theme: Halloween
THE WEEKS THEME HAS CHANGED TO HALLOWEEN IT IS NO LONGER COLORS OF AUTUMN.
Colors of Autumn needed to be pushed back because Halloween shouldn’t be posted in November. So again, I’ve read some questions about the themes and if where you live Halloween isn’t a thing that is celebrated, please keep this open to the imagination. You can make something spooky or creepy. Abandoned home sitting in a field? Creepy woods? You can make it your own.

The tag I want to use is “52 photos challenge” (only one with nothing in it) so basically if you’d like to take part, let me know, and tag your work each week. On the Monday of the following week, you post the photo and tag it with the 52 photos challenge tag and the theme of the week as well (along with any other tags you’d like) So for the Leaves theme, it starts that Monday (10/7/13) and goes until Sunday, the photo gets posted on the Monday after the start (10/14/13 simple yes?) then you start on the next theme.
There’s no winners or contest here, it’s away to motivate and get people going with work. I hope this seems fun to someone else and I get some others going with it too, if not I’ll still be going about it.
